Dark Chocolate Vegan Truffles

I had to include these truffles as one of the recipes i finally uploaded to the new website, they are so indulgent, bitter sweet and make the perfect gift for anyone. With only 6 ingredients and a few simple steps you can be eating truffles today. I have tried these dipped in dark chocolate and rolled in extra cacao, both are absolutely delicious. 

80g cacao

20g cacao butter 

100g coconut oil 

6tbs maple syrup 

1tsp vanilla 

125ml cashew cream/or oat cream even soy cream

Melt the cacao butter and coconut oil in a pan over the lowest heat possible, once melt add in the cacao powder, maple syrup and vanilla. Add in the cream once it's cooled slightly transfer to a bowl and place in the fridge for a few hours. When cooled use a melon baller or teaspoon to make balls of the mixture. You can leave naked or cover with sugar free/dairy free chocolate or roll in cacao. Refrigerate again when your ready to serve leave them out for a few minutes
